Sticky ginger and figgy pudding energy porridge

1 cup oats (or quinoa / buckwheat if you prefer)
3 cups mylk (we like to use unsweetened almond or if you prefer a creamier porridge use coconut
milk)
2 dried figs chopped into small pieces (1 fig for decoration)
pinch of pink Himalayan salt
pinch of black pepper
1tbsp Energy Elixir
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
drop of maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
1 tsp flaxseed
1/2 tsp almond butter!
Pop all ingredients in a pan and bring to a simmer for 12-15 minutes (slightly longer if using quinoa/buckwheat) Pop in your favourite bowl and add your toppings. We love grated apple, dried fig, pumpkin seeds and a drizzle of nut butter.
