Aim to drink a small glass of water every half an hour. Water helps push out toxins and helps our skin feel plumper.
Avoid all refined sugars ( anything with added sucrose,high fructose corn syrup e.g.cakes, biscuits, sweets, pastries,) or alcohol e.g. beer, wine, spirits, caffeinated drinks (including Diet Coke, coffee, tea), artificial colourings, flavourings and sweeteners and packaged ,processed foods, meats ( beef, pork, lamb, wild game), gluten, dairy, eggs and poultry.
Follow the path of the sun when it comes to portions – eating a fuller breakfast and lunch will give you the energy from food when you need it and a lighter supper will aid better sleep!
ON WAKING – A glass of hot water and lemon.
BREAKFAST – Morning Elixir 40g, 1handful frozen berries, 1/3 cucumber, 1 avocado, 150 – 200ml of water blend till smooth.
SNACK – A glass of hot water and ginger and a small handful of almonds.
LUNCH – Courgetti with pine nuts, fresh pesto & tomatoes or roasted vegetables with quinoa, mint & broad beans.
SNACK – Beetroot cleanser (see recipe) with our Energy Elixir or the 3pm Slump Booster if in need of some 3pm energy!
DINNER – Lentil soup (add in some tumeric and ginger) or vegetable stir fry, one apple and a palmful of cashews with 2 squares of 70% raw dark chocolate.
